About

Hello, there! I’m a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Michigan. I primarily work on ethics – especially normative ethics and moral psychology – and social and political philosophy. My dissertation investigates how internal conflict can be ethically and relationally good; my advisors are Ishani Maitra, Sarah Buss, and Renee Jorgensen.

Before I joined the University of Michigan in 2021, I was a professional bread-baker in Savannah, Georgia. Before that, I completed my AB magna cum laude from Brown University in 2019. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In my free time, I enjoy baking, backpacking, running, and anything else that takes me outside.
